Thoughts on The Disaster Artist
The Disaster Artist is the story of the making of the hilariously bad movie The Room. The movie is entertaining enough and gives some fun performances. The problem is that the story of the making of this movie isn’t nearly as compelling as the performances. It is interesting but not so much that it will stick with me like Ed Wood did. The movie also has a strange homo erotic vibe which bu itself isn’t a bad thing but the parts are played by actors who are brothers in real life. If you’ve seen The Room you might like this. The attention to detail is very impressive. Otherwise wait for it on cable.
