 The Quick and the Dead is a Sam Raimi Western. The story is dumb. However, it is bombastic and has all the trademark shots that are Sam Raimi’s style. It is an okay time capsule of 90s pop corn action movie. It’s not great, but it is fun.

 Anora is a great movie. The acting is incredible. The story itself, is good though the subject manner is depressing. It is like a sexy antithesis to a Cinderella tale. Anora is definitely worth seeing.

 Heretic is a horror movie from A24. The acting is great and the story is very solid and compelling. It is thought provoking and takes the audience on several twists and turns. It is absolutely a movie for horror fans of subtle psychological horror.

 Longlegs is a horror movie about a satanic serial killer. The acting is great. Nicolas Cage is fantastic and over-the-top. The story is compelling and the ending was unexpected. Check it out if you enjoy movies in the vein of Silence of the Lambs.

Thoughts on Moana 2

 Moana 2 is the sequel to the hit Disney animated film. It is pretty and a very colorful film. That being said, it pales in comparison to its predecessor. Added characters seem superfluous. The plot and songs are largely forgettable. It isn’t a bad movie. It is just plagued with such mediocre themes that it doesn’t stand out.
